APRIL LIVE MUSIC - CARL BLARX
Thu 2 April | 7:30pm
We are temporarily closed until it is safe to reopen.
Our April edition of Back to Brooklyn is playing host to Carl Blarx as well as a double bill of talent from the NiNE8 COLLECTIVE, a group of London creatives who push the boundaries of sound and art, including Bone Slim and Mac Wetha.
With a vibin’ voice and a melodic mind, Carl Blarx brings together hip-hop and electronica with alternative indie and punk influences. Itʼs easy to hear that Carl draws inspiration from many genres but for him, his core inspiration comes from the likes of Andre 3000, Blu and Capital Steez.
Bone Slim offers a fresh take on UK rap and hip-hop blending sounds from the 90s with the early 2000s. This contemporary sound has gained support from critics and has helped build an epic fanbase across the UK. Fellow NiNE8 COLLECTIVE creative Mac Wetha will be spinnin’ sick beats to close your night as one to remember.
DIRTY BONES X GIVE A GIG
Music is at the heart of everything we do at Dirty Bones, our old-school music ethos reflects our vibe, fuels our people and powers the good times in all of our restaurants. Which is why it’s so important to spread the good vibes when we can. It’s our charity partner Youth Music’s Give a Gig week from 27th March through 3rd April.
Youth Music work to support life-changing and music-making projects across the country for young people who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance. We’re asking our guests to support this initiative and help us 'Give a Gig' with an entirely optional £1 donation added to your bill.
Get into the mood ahead of the show by peeping our playlist below curated by Carl Blarx himself.
