Get lost in the sauce

You know how we do. We like to channel the NYC vibes at all times here at Dirty Bones, even when it comes to our globally sourced ingredients. The devil’s in the detail after all. Our house sauce from The Curtice Brothers is one addition that’s bringing a touch of American history to Dirty Bones and we are pleased to be serving up their product.

Founded in 1868, in Rochester New York, The Curtice Brothers company was creating tomato ketchup from a small grocery store and went on to expand successfully across America.

Having disappeared sometime in the 40s, this heritage sauce brand was revived by a group of friends in 2014. They noticed a lack of alternative sauces in the market. They were fed up with the over processed kinds so readily available, so went on to create something new and exciting. Using only the best fresh organic ingredients, the group of BFFs were on a mission to set an all new bar for ketchup and mayo. Along with top quality ingredients, their ambition to revive the historical brand has proven to be key in creating their award winning sauce recipe.

Director and co-founder of The Curtice Brothers, Mario C. Bauer, caught up with Dirty Bones very own CEO Cokey Sulkin in his YouTube series Teddy Talks. They discuss what it’s like to be in the restaurant business in 2019 and how important passion is for succeeding. Kick back, preferably with your Dirty Bones faves, duh you can get them delivered straight to your door now, and watch the video.

Come through Dirty Bones and get lost in the sauce yourself.
