Youth Music
Music has always been a major part of what we do. Our old-school music ethos reflects our vibe, fuels our people and powers the good times in all of our restaurants. And as our business has grown, giving back to local communities and helping out where we can has remained one of our top priorities. No surprise then, that when it came time to decide on our charity partner for 2018, Youth Music was an obvious choice.
YOUTH MUSIC
Charity partner of choice for this year’s NME Awards, Youth Music is a national charity investing in life-changing music-making projects for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances. They believe that everyone should have the chance to make music, and those facing difficulties - including poverty, disability, mental health issues, behavioural issues, rural isolation, youth justice and living in care, to name a few - are often the ones who get the most out of music-making. They invest in approximately 350 projects across the country every year, giving around 75,000 vulnerable children and young people the opportunity to make music regularly in their local community. Projects supported by Youth Music help young people develop musically, of course, but they have personal and social outcomes too. Ultimately, they offer meaningful chances to young people in complicated situations.
OUR DAILY CONTRIBUTION
To help support their empowering initiatives, we're dontating 25p fom every Top Dog sold across all our locations to Youth Music's inspiring cause. No one really needs another reason to knock back a cocktail or two, but we've just given you one of the best there is. Not to mention our Top Dog sits pretty as part of our 2-4-1 Dirty Hour at Soho 3-6pm Monday thru to Friday. We'll call that TWO of the best reasons to get involved.
